Funeral Services Held for William F. Buche

Funeral services for Wm. Fred Buche, 76, were held Sunday afternoon at the W. G. Buche home southeast of Slater at 1:30 and at the Salem Reformed church in Alleman at 2:30.

The services were in charge of Rev. A. I. Kreutzman. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Clark had charge of the many beautiful floral offerings. The choir sang "Abide With Me." "Beautiful Land" was sung by the Riis quartette. Burial was made in the Alleman cemetery. Wm. Fred Buche was born April 23, 1862, and died April 28, 1938 at the Iowa Lutheran hospital in Des Moines at the age of 76 years and 5 days. Death was due to a heart attack.

His marriage to Frederica Graeber took place February 12, 1896. Six children were born to this union.

They made their home on a farm south east of Slater. His wife died Sept. 6, 1910. Several years after the death of his wife he moved to Slater where he made his home until the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry of Colorado and two sisters, Emma and Mary. He is survived by six children Rev. Robert H. Buche of Englishtown, New Jersey; Miss Alma Buche of Chicago; Henry L., Frank A. and Theodore Buche of Slater and 4 grandchildren. All were present at the services. There are also two brothers, August Buche of Portland, Oregon and Charles Buche of near Sheldahl.
