DEATH

ANDREW GEORGE ERICKSON

Andrew George Erickson, 80, died Saturday, October 22, 1988, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Death was due to heart failure.

He was a resident of of the senior housing at Cambridge IA.

Mr. Erickson was born at Rising Sun IA on May 15, 1908, to Andrew G. Erickson and Albertina Carlson.

He was married to Edith Olive Murray on Aug. 2, 1947, in Indiana.

Mr. Erickson was a self-employed Standard Service station operator for 23 years.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 1:30 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell IA with Rev. William Rieckoff officiating. Erma Ryerson will be organist. Pallbearers will be Steve Johnson, John Koerner, Richard Nutting, David Erickson, Gary Erickson and Bruce Erickson.

Burial will be in Cambridge Cemetery at Cambridge.

Mr. Erickson moved to Cambridge in 1933 at age 25.

Survivors include his wife, Olive Erickson, 3rd and Pearl, Westside Acres, Apt. 3, Cambridge; three children, Lynn Erickson of Des Moines IA, Karl Erickson of Fall City NE and Berkley Fletcher of Des Moines; three brothers, Alver Erickson of Des Moines, Harold Erickson of Cambridge and Harry Erickson of Maxwell IA; four sisters, Esther Montgomery of Norwalk IA, Ruth Hansman of Des Moines and Clara Johnson of Des Moines, and Hazel Hudson of Carlinvolle IL; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, a brothr and his parents.
