Nilus Ihle sang two hymns at the church, "Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling" and "Under His Wings." Rev. Onstad sang "Den Store Hvide Flok."

The beautiful floral offerings were arranged by Mrs. Ben Hokel, Mrs. Clara Brown and Mrs. Earl Smith. A number of gifts were given to various missions in memory of Mrs. Ahlman.

The pall bearers were six cousins: Dr. George J. Severson, J. C. Ersland, Oscar Severson, Lewis Larson, Henry Larson and Andrew Sheldahl. Burial was in the Bethlehem cemetery.

Those from out of town attending the funeral were from Stuart, Elmore, Minn., Stenberg, Litchfield, Minn., Canby, Minn., and Ames.

Mrs. Ahlman was born at Sheldahl on Feb. 27, 1880, a daughter of Halvor and Sarah Sheldahl. She grew to womanhood in the Sheldahl community.

In March, 1902, she moved with her parents to Canby, Minn. On July 13, 1905, she was united in marriage to Peter Ahlman; to this union were born three children, Arnold of Alleman, Selma, Mrs. Claire Moe of Kelley, and a daughter Blanche who died in infancy.

They continued to make Canby their home until the fall of 1941, when they retired from farming and moved to the Slater community which has been their home since.

Besides her husband and children she is survived by one sister and six brothers.
