Rites Friday in Nevada for Joe E. Sesker

Funeral services for Joe E. Sesker, 79, who died Monday evening at People Hospital in Peru, Ill., will be at the Memorial Lutheran Church Friday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Harry Myklebust officiating.

Mr. Sesker had lived in Peru the past two years and had been hospitalized the last nine weeks.

Born September 14, 1890 in Story County, he was the son of John and Anna Sesker. He was a retired salesman, a 50 year member of the Legion and VFW.

Survivors include a son, Doyle of Peru; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Strum of Roland and Mrs. Mike Mills of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Goodnight of Hubbard and Mrs. Bessie Insland* of McCallsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and his wife, Beulah, who died in 1960.
