John Charlson Lafayette Pioneer to Be Buried Tuesday

Story City, May 31--John Charlson, 74, passed away at the Old Peoples Home here Saturday at noon and the funeral rites will be held at Immanuel Lutheran church here Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. T. T. Heimarck in charge. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.

Mr. Charlson, who had been at the Old Peoples Home since last autumn was born on the old Hans Charlson farm south of Story City. He continued to live there with his brother, Ole until about ten years ago. Later his lived with his brother Charles who lived west of Story City.

He is survived only by his brother Ole Charlson.
