Services Held Tues. For Mrs. Sarah Carr

Sarah B. Carr, 84, former Nevada resident, died at Upland Convalescent Hospital, Upland, California June 30, 1965, following a long illness. She was member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Mrs. Carr was born Nov. 8, 1880, near Palmyra, Nebraska, the daughter of John Thomas and Martha Ward Ronald. She grew to womanhood in Adair County, and was married to Jesse B. Carr March 18, 1903, living in or near Nevada all her married life.

She is survived by two sons and seven daughters, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services were held July 6 from the Nevada Seventh Day Adventist Church, with the Elder J.S. Blahovich officiating. Pall bearers were grandsons: David Foster, Harlan Holsinger, Paul Radcliffe, Donald, Marion and Raymond See.

Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery beside her husband who preceded her in death in 1941m and infant son in 1918.
