Infant Laid To Rest in 'Baby Garden'

STORY CITY -- Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Larson-Peterson funeral home for James William Brattebo, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brattebo who died following a brief illness.

James was born May 1, 1952, in Story City On Thursday, May 15, he became suddenly ill and was rushed to the Blank Memorial hospital in Des Moines where he passed away the following day.

The Rev. T. J. Alvestad officiated at the services here on Sunday and Mrs. Luther Matson sang several numbers. The baby's body was laid to rest in the "Baby Garden" in the Story City cemetery.

Surviving James William, besides his parents, is a sister, Catherine Ann, aged 3 and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Brattebo and Mrs. and Mrs. Grant I. Johnson.
