Obituary from Dunn Family Funeral Home, Oswego, Illinois.

Todd Jahr, age 54 of Montgomery, IL, formerly of Ames, IA passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Rush Copley Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1963 in Burlington, IA the son of Fred and Vicki nee Morrison Jahr.

Todd was a graduate of St. Ambrose University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He worked as a receiving clerk for Woodman's Market. While at Woodman's Market Todd met Doreen and on November 21, 2009 Todd and Doreen joined their two families. He was an avid Iowa State Cyclone fan and enjoyed watching college sports. Todd was a proud and loving father to his children. Todd was also a former Ames High School athlete having won a swimming state tittle and still holds records at Ames High School.

He is survived by his wife Doreen nee Mueller Jahr, his mother Vicki, children Anthony (Amanda) Jahr, Rebecca Jahr, two step-children Jessie (Ryan) Adam, Ken (Meghan) Wilcoxen, and a sister Emily Jahr. He was preceded in death by his father Fred, grandparents Mae Jahr, Dick and Mil Morrison.

Funeral Visitation will be on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. Memorial donations may be made out to the Jahr family. Todd will be buried in Wapello, IA at a later date.
