Nadine Marie Eide, age 74, of Story City, IA, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1414 Truman Place, Briardale Square, Ames IA 50010 at 2 pm on Saturday Nov 25, 2017.

Nadine was born on December 2, 1942 in Jewell, Iowa to Ray and Myrtle (Buckles) Eide. Nadine remained in Jewell throughout her childhood. Following graduation her journey took her across the Midwest, living in Council Bluffs, Indiana and Florida. She was blessed with a daughter Rayla.

Nadine worked for several employers as a secretary for the majority of her life. Nadine was known for her sense of humor and feistiness, she was a very caring individual who was always trying to help those around her. She was an amazing cook and Baker. Nadine will be remembered by those who knew her for soft heart, work ethic, and her enduring spirit. She enjoyed her time in the garden, planting flowers and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter; Rayla Eide of Ames, Iowa, her brother in law Roger Reisetter, 2 nieces Krissa Coleman and Lana Rogers and 1 nephew Troy Reisetter.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Donna Reisetter.
