Although found no positive identity for Miss Doornbos in local data, all indicators suggest her identity is as herein, No death record in the Netherlands so she must have immigrated with her brother Jan ‘John’

Miss Doornbos / Doorenbos, whose serious indisposition we reported last week, passed away on Saturday, aged 15, the funeral will take place this afternoon. Rev. Muilenburg will lead the service.

Birth record of Reina Doornbos born 4 Sep 1877 at Bierum Gronigen, Neth. To Wigholt Doornbos and Ebeltje Bolt.

1900 census of Capel Tsp there was a John Doorenbos born March 17, 1871 Beirum died May 1933and Winnie Bleeker Doorenbos. He was her brother. He was son of Wigbolt Doornbos and Ebeltje Bolt noted on death record.

After much research found a family record on Ancestry.com (by others) which confirms that Reina Doornbos born 4 Sept 1877 at Bierum, to Wiegbolt Jans Doorenbos 1843-1914 died in Illinois, wife Ebeltje Bolt 1850-1930 died in Illinois. Reina is listed as born 1877 and died 1895 in IA or IL. (actually 1893 in IA) There were many children listed in that entry, including Jan 1871-1933 as noted herein.
