Research note: From a report on ancestry.com (by others) Aart Mouw born 27 Oct 1860 Apeldoorn Glederland Neth. Died 2 March 1896 Alton IA. His parents were Dries Andries Mouw 1834-1929 and Hendrika Harmsen 1838-1862. His wife was Petjen ‘Maggie’ Vande Zande 1865-1887. Then he married Johanna Navis 1868-1897 and they had three children Andrew 1890-1956, Etta Mouw Mouw 1892-1991 and Clarence A. Mouw Vande Kamp 1894.
