Mr. John Roos, 92, passed away last week and the funeral was held Saturday morning in the Community United Church of Christ in Rock Rapids. He was the brother of Mrs. John Hymans. He was married to Gertrude Vande Berg.

Attending from the area were Mr. and Mrs. John Hymans, Mr. Bob Huibregtse of Orange City, Mr. Henry Vande Vegte of Sioux Center, Mr. and Mrs. Les Van Muyden, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Gorzeman, and Mr. and Mrs. John Gorzeman. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Vogel of Bemidji, Minnesota, a sister of Mr. De Roos.
