FORMER RESIDENT OF IRETON DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Funeral services were held Saturday at Le Mars and burial was in St. John’s Cemetery east of Ireton for Emerson J. Mandelkow who died the previous Sunday at Long Beach, California.

Mr. Mandelkow was born September 3, 1897, at Struble. He moved to Lafayette, Minnesota in 1927 and to Long Beach last November.

Survivors include the widow Lydia; a son, William of Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Hilton of Long Beach and Mrs. Warren Carpenter of Spencer; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Mandelkow of Long Beach and four grandchildren.
