Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph H. Kokenge, the former Catherine Kellen, will be held this Thursday morning at 10 o’clock in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Granville. Mrs. Kokenge died April 26 at the Paullina Rest Home. The pastor, the Reverend John Schissel will officiate and interment will be at the parish cemetery. Rosary will be recited at Spalding Hall this Wednesday at 5,7, 8, and 9 P.M.

She was born at Le Mars June 20, 1896 and married April 5, 1921. The couple lived for a time on a farm east of Alton but had made their home in Granville for 36 years. They celebrated their Golden Wedding just a few weeks ago.

Survivors are the widower and two sons, Ray of Granville and Vincent of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; also 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Frank Wilhelmi of Bancroft and a stepsister, Mrs. Frank Kolbeck of Salem, South Dakota.
