Mrs. R.B. De Jong died at her home in this city last Friday morning at the age of seventy-two years. Deceased was born in the Netherlands and was there united in marriage to Mr. Toering, who died some years later. In 1895 she came to this country with her children and in 1902 was married to R.B. De Jong who survives here. Besides her husband she leaves five children, one of whom resides in Holland, the others being Mrs. Ordt and Henry Toering of Hospers, Mrs. Van Grauw of Alvord and Albert Toering of Bemis, S.D. The funeral services were held on Monday, being conducted by Rev. Timmermann of the Christian Reformed church.
