Tuesday afternoon, the old gentleman H. Boeyink died, he was over 88 years old, 4 months and 18 days. Mr. Boeyink was born in Winterswijk, The Netherlands on May 8, 1838. At the age of 32 he traveled to America with his family and settled in Alto Wis. Where he lived for 15 years. In 1885, they moved to Sioux County and lived west of town on the farm. For the last 20 years Mr. Boeyink lived in town. Two years ago, his wife died and one year he lived alone, when his mindset weakened, in the last year he lived with the children.

The deceased leaves seven married children: Mrs. Henry Van Peursem, Gerrit, John, Mrs. W. Kleene, Mrs. H. K. Eggink, Ralph and Henry. There are 35 grandchildren and 14 great grand children. The funeral will take place on Friday with a service at 12 o'clock at W. Kleene at Doon, and at 2 o'clock in the Central Reformed church there.
