Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Earling, IA. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Religious affiliation: Baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Earling, IA, where she remained was a life-long member; was one of the original committee members who started Bingo at St. Joseph’s Church, vo,l.unteeribng there for 45 years. She most enjoyed preparing the lunches where she made sandwiches, soups, pies and desserts. Was a member of Catholic Daughters of America, and of the Altar Society.

Employment: Helped Lou around the telephone company; also worked at Langenfeld Locker and the Earling Café.

Hobbies/Interests: Was a 4-H leader; enjoyed quilting and making baby blankets for Birthright Iowa. She loved making crafts and selling her items at craft fairs: she crocheted scrubbies that are widely known and used by many, and they became known as “Ruthies”.
