Funeral services for William Stoltenberg Sr., 94, were held at St. Paul's Episcopal church, Durant, March 3 with the Rev. Rick Simpson officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery. Mr. Stotlenberg died at the Moline Nursing and Rehabilitation center March 1.

The son of Claus and Anna LaMaack Stoltenberg, he was born in Durant Feb. 9, 1890. He was married to Lenoara Wulff in Davenport Dec. 22, 1914.

Mr. Stoltenberg had been an auditor for the Davenport Pearl Co., Blackhawk Foundry and the R. W. Paulsen Auditing Co. of Davenport. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal church.

He is survived by a son, William Jr., rural Durant; 2 daughters, Mrs. Margaret Temple, Rock Island, IL and Mrs. Leon (Elizabeth) Wahl, Orion, IL; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
