Last rites for Hilbert (Bill) Marolf, 60, Davenport, were held at Zion Lutheran church, Wilton, Feb. 9 with the Rev. Curtis Moermond officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery. Willis Claussen was organist and the men's quartet were vocalists.

Pallbearers were Waldo, Leo and Arnold Marolf, Robert Cissene, Al Heussner and Ernest Imig.

Mr. Marolf died at Mercy hospital, Davenport, Feb. 6.

The son of Will and Ida Duffe Marolf, he was born in Wilton Oct. 4, 1919. He was married to Marion Boger in Annville, Pa. July 13, 1946. He was an army veteran of World War II and a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Davenport.

Mr. Marolf had been employed as an accountant in the Eagle Food Stores, Milan, Ill. prior to his death. He was a member of the Tri-City Cost Accountants association.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Jeff, Bettendorf; a daughter, Jane Marolf, Richmond, Va.; 3 grandchildren and a brother, Kenneth, Muscatine. He was preceded in death by a sister.
