Funeral services for Arthur Lilienthal, retired Cedar and Scott county farmer, were held at Davenport March 4 with burial in the Durant cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dwain Sievers, Keith, Gary and Tom Lilienthal, Frank Bartscher and Lloyd Siebel.
The son of Henry and Lilly Grating Lilienthal, he was born in Scott county Sept. 5, 1910 and was married to Erma Eichner in Davenport. The couple farmed in Scott and Cedar county, retiring in 1973. He was a resident of Slavens Manor at the time of his death.
Mr. Lilienthal is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Merle (Doris) Hamann, Walcott; a son, Don, Bennett; 3 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Elmer Otto, Durant; Mrs. Carl Ploen, Wilton and Mrs. Ralph Sievers, Davenport, his twin and 5 brothers, Albert, Ray, Allen and Alvin, Durant and Lawrence, Wilton.
