Mason J. Fuessel

August 20, 1975-July 24, 2021

BETTENDORF-Mason J. Fuessel, 45, of Bettendorf, IA, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at University of Iowa Hospital. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 29, from 5-8 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 4400 W. Central Park Ave., Davenport. Memorials in his honor may be made to the family. Mason was born August 20, 1975 to John Fuessel and Michelle Wilford in Davenport, IA. On April 14, 2007 he was united in marriage to Allison Freeman. He worked in construction and was a 4th generation brick layer.

Mason enjoyed cooking and smoking foods, being outdoors and fishing. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his new grandson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Allison Fuessel; daughter, Brittany Trudell, Bettendorf, IA; son, Trent Fuessel, Davenport, IA; grandson, Idris Ochs; brother, Marshall Fuessel, Davenport, IA; sisters, Melissa Tate, Ozark, MO, Megan Honeycutt, Nixa, MO, and Misty Wilford, Nixa, MO; father, John (Pam) Fuessel, Long Grove, IA; mother, Michelle Wilford, Nixa, MO; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and grandmothers, Diana Fuessel, Marianne Bergeson, and Shelby Parks.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
