Edgar Harvey Hill, 75, of 1334 W. 36th St., Davenport, a resident of the city 40 years, died Tuesday night in Mercy Hospital after an extended illness.

Mr. Hill had been a cement worker before retiring. Born in Boone, he had also lived in Rock Island before coming to Davenport. In 1915 he married Louise Hoffman in Davenport.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Rauch, Davenport, a son, Donald, Rockford; seven grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Wicker, Madrid, Iowa.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Runge Mortuary, where visitation will begin at 7 p.m. today.
