Mrs. Camilla Louise Petersen, 87, of 410 S. Clark St., Davenport, died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday in her home following an extended illness.

She was born in Bekke, Denmark, Dec. 15, 1867 and attended schools there. She came to America to Buffalo, Iowa, in 1892 and was married to Jens Petersen in Davenport, Dec. 24, 1892. The couple lived near Buffalo and later farmed in Scott County. They retired in 1920 and moved to Davenport. Mr. Petersen died March 27, 1953. Mrs. Petersen was a charter member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Miss Ella Ruth Petersen, at home; two sons, John D., of Walcott, and George T., Davenport; a sister, Mrs. Henriette Rasmussen, Moline; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A son, Carl, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Runge chapel. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Friends may contribute to the St. Mark Memorial Building fund in lieu of flowers.
