John Bell Dies in Kahoka, Mo.; Heart Disease

Davenport Resident Succumbs Suddenly Thursday Noon

John T. Bell, 219 South Pine street, employed by the Littig Construction company of this city, died suddenly at Kahoka, Mo., Thursday noon. Death was due to heart disease.

The body will be brought to Davenport to the Hill & Fredericks chapel where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Burial will be made in Rose Hill cemetery at Buffalo, Ia.

Mr. Bell was born June 2, 1863, at Drury, Illinois. For many years he resided at Jamestown, Ia. He was married to Miss Laura Ochsner at Buffalo, Ia., on Dec. 31, 1890. The family have made their home in Davenport for the last 23 years.

Surviving besides the widow are three sons, George, Brooks and Byron Bell, all of Davenport; two daughters, Mrs. Hugo Lemm and Mrs. John Duvall, also of this city; and three sisters, Mrs. M. Dyer of Chicago, Mrs. E. Rostenbach of Buffalo, Ia., and Mrs. Hugo Carstens of Davenport.
