DIPTHERIA IS FATAL TO GIRL 7 YEARS OLD
Mary Alice Rynearson, Adams School Pupil, Succumbs.
Mary Alice Rynearson, aged 7, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rynearson, 825 Swiss street, died Sunday noon at the home of her parents following a ten-day attack of diphtheria. She was a student in the Adams school.
She was born near Tiffin, Ia., Aug. 8, 1915, and with her parents came to Davenport in Aug. 1918.
Surviving are her parents; one brother, Francis Charles; and a sister, Mildred Margie, as well as her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rynearson of Pemberton, Minn., and Mrs. Alice Cove of Davenport.
Private funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home, and burial will be in Oakdale cemetery.
