Mrs. Mamie Jasper

Mrs. Mamie F. Jasper, 404 South Concord street, died in Mercy hospital at 7:55 a.m. today following an extended illness.

Mrs. Jasper was born in Davenport Dec. 4, 1878, and was the daughter of the late Fred C. and Fredericka Fahrenkrug. She received her education in the Davenport schools and was married to C. N. Jasper in Davenport, March 14, 1898. She lived most of her life in Davenport, with the exception of five years which were spent in Chicago and Oklahoma. A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

Surviving are the husband; three sons, Henry A. and Fred C., of Davenport, and A. B. Jasper of Bettendorf; her sister, Mrs. Freida Hein, Davenport, and three brothers, George F., Horace and Fred C. Fahrenkrug, all of Davenport.

The body was removed to the Runge mortuary pending funeral arrangements.

Jasper Funeral

The funeral of Mamie Jasper was held at 1 p.m. today in the Runge chapel, with the Rev. W. E. Kmet [sic] officiating. Mrs. Ruth Wunschel sang.

The pallbearers were C. C. Jasper, jr., George Fahrenkrug, jr., F. A. Fahn, D. Hein, Erwin Fahrenkrug and LeRoy Jasper. Burial was in Fairmount cemetery.
