The Mirror, Lyons, Iowa, July 25, 1854

Mrs. Mary Hardesty, the wife of James Hardesty, residing in Scott County, Iowa, gave birth on the 30th ult. to two sons and a daughter. Their names are LeRoy, James Madison and Mary Alice. All doing well, if that's the way our Scott County neighbors are going to increase and multiply, it no use for Muscatine to try to outnumber them in population.
