June 25, 1971 - July 8, 2018

Doug E. Dublinske, age 47, of Odebolt, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Horn Memorial Hospital of Ida Grove, Iowa.

Memorial Services will be held at 7:00pm. Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Christensen - Van Houten Funeral Home of Odebolt, Iowa. Father Richard D. Ball will officiate. Interment will be at a later date. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Christensen - Van Houten Funeral Home of Odebolt, Iowa. The Christensen - Van Houten Funeral Home of Odebolt, Iowa, is in charge of the funeral arrangements. Condolences may be sent online at www.christensenvanhouten.com.

Douglas E. Dublinske was born June 25, 1971, in Sac City, Iowa, the second of four sons to Neil and Patricia Dublinske. He was raised in California until the family moved back to Odebolt, IA. He graduated from Odebolt High School with the class of 1989. After high school he served in the U.S. Army and National Guard. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Odebolt to make his home. Doug worked at a variety of jobs. At the time of his death, he was working in the fabrication department at Gomaco in Ida Grove, IA.

Doug loved spending time with his daughter Catherine. He was an avid fisherman, bowler, and golfer. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden and going camping. Doug was always ready to help his parents and anyone who needed it especially his neighbors, Judy and Ed.

Left to cherish his memory include his daughter Catherine Dublinske of Ames, IA; his parents Neil and Patricia Dublinske of Odebolt, IA; signifiant other Regina Perales and her daughter Contessa Perales of Odebolt, IA; ex-wife Fonda Allen of Omaha, NE; brothers Neil (Amy) Dublinske, Jr. of Lee Summit, MO; Richard (Megan) Dublinske of Milford, IA; and Steven (Brandie) Dublinske of Cherokee, IA; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
