Albert Drury Dies

Complications Cause Death at Home of Daughter, Mrs. Eno

Albert Drury, a resident of this city for six years, died at 11:30 this forenoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ralph Eno, 307 Woodbury street. He had been in failing health since September and bedfast for three days. Death was caused by a complication of diseases.

Mr. Drury was born Jan. 2, 1853 at Kirksville, Mo., and married Miss Rebecca Waltz near this city, Dec. 15, 1876. He had been a resident of the county for sixty-nine years. Mrs. Drury died Oct. 5, 1917.

He is survived by three sons and five daughters all living in or near this city. They are W.C., Isaac and William Drury, Mrs. Bert Dougherty, Mrs. Ed. E. Willits, Mrs. Glenn Heifner, Mrs. Carl Wilson and Mrs. Ralph Eno. Four brothers and one sister also are living. They are Samuel Drury, living east of the city; James and Reese Drury, Early; William Drury, living in Washington state; Lafe Drury, Shadron, Neb., and Miss Clara Drury, who makes her home in Louisiana.

The funeral will be held at 2:30 Friday afternoon at the Iowa River Church of the Brethren, preceded by a prayer at the home where he died at 1:30.
