OBITUARY ~ JESSE HASKELL SHARP
March 04, 1930 ~ September 21, 2017

Jesse Sharp, 87, of Kellerton, died at the Clearview home in Mount Ayr on Thursday, September 21, 2017. Celebration of life memorial gathering, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Jesse’s home in Kellerton, IA. Memorials are to the family. Jesse Haskell Sharp was born March 4, 1930 in Amarillo, Texas to Jessie Haskell Sharp, Sr. and Mary. On September 24, 1948, Jesse was united in marriage to Betty Louise(Adams). They settled in Amarillo, Texas before moving to Sherman Oaks, California in 1966 where he continued to drive a truck over the road in a variety of different capacities retiring in January of 1996. In 2005 Jesse moved to Kellerton, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Sharp of Kellerton, IA.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Marjorie Atchison in 1996 and son William Sharp in 2001.
