EDNA P. BROWN,
FORMER RESIDENT,
DIES IN ARIZONA

Edna Pauline Brown, formerly of Grinnell, died May 23 at Phoenix, Ariz.

She was the eldest daughter of the late Dr. Ira C. Brown and Mrs. Marchie C. Brown of Grinnell. She was born at Afton, Ia., on Dec. 17, 1913.

Funeral services were held May 25 at the A.L. Moore & Sons Mortuary in Phoenix. Burial was in Memory Lawn Memorial Park there.

She was a member of the Methodist church and the Eastern Star Lodge of Grinnell.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Marchie C. Brown of Kellogg; three sisters, Mrs. Harold A. (Lois) Whitcomb of Kellogg, Mrs. Carl L. (Elizabeth) Childs of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Charles D. (Geraldine) Wagner of Torrance, Calif.; one brother, Robert I. Brown of Grinnell; three nieces and six nephews.

Her father preceded her in death on February 7, 1952.
