MRS. LAMMERT RITES SATURDAY

Hazel V. Lammert, 72, of Bonaparte, a native of Grinnell, died Thursday at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Dean DeWitt officiating. Graveside services were held at a3 p.m. at the Chester Cemetery near Grinnell.

The daughter of William and Isabelle Shivvers Attwood, she was born Aug. 23, 1906. She was married to Lee Lammert, on Sept. 1, 1923, at Marshalltown. The couple lived in the Marshalltown area, moving to Bloomfield in 1973 and to Bonaparte, in 1975.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Kenneth of Bloomfield and Morris of Marshalltown; two daughters, Maxine Kloppenbert of Marshalltown and Katherine Billingsley of Farmington; 26 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Orville of St. Petersburg, Fla.
