HELEN ELIZABETH "BETTY" HUTCHISON MANN

Helen E. Mann, 82, of Hampton, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at the Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Sullivan-Phillips Mortuary, East Moline, with the Rev. D. Bechtel officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton Township Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. before services Saturday.

Helen was born Jan. 10, 1922, in Pretty Valley, Canada, to Herbert and Ruby Wells Hutchison. She married Richard Mann April 7, 1952, in Missouri. Helen was a member of Open Bible Church, East Moline. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid Bears fan.

Survivors (and spouses) include her husband, Richard; daughters, Sylvia (Gerald) Whisenand, South Beloit, Ill., Cynthia (Tom) West, East Moline, Ill., and Dawn (Tim) Gray, Port Byron, Ill.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Breiting, Grinnell, Iowa; and brother, Earl Hutchison, Sikeston, Mo.

She was preceded in death by son, Charles, in 1959; daughter, Robin Mann, in 1967; and great-granddaughter, Katie Whisenand, in 1992.
