Elvin F. Wentz, 45 years old, grain dealer and leading coal merchant of Oakland, ended his life by hanging himself in his barn. His wife and two daughters survive.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1871 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery.
