Sara Ellenor Anderson, 80, widow of Samuel A. Anderson died Friday afternoon of cerebral hemorrhage at the home of her sister, Mrs. Fred C. Loper, 1227 Sixth Avenue.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier’s Church, St. Francis Altar Society, Women’s Benefit Association, Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, Catholic Daughters of America, Degree of Honor and General Grant Post of the Women’s Relief Corp.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by one son, Samuel E. Anderson, of Los Angeles,; two sisters, Mrs. Loper, of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Stella Rose of Omaha; five brothers, George Shively of Ralston, Neb., James Shively of Council Bluffs, William T. Shively of Norfolk, Neb., Richard Shively of Council Bluffs and Frank Shively of Omaha.

Funeral services will be held at St. Francis Xavier’s Church Tuesday at 10 a.m. Requiem High mass will be celebrated by Rev. James P. Danahey. The body will lie in state at the Loper residence from Monday morning to the hour of the funeral. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
