Emil H. Knickman, 79
Services were Thursday in Council Bluffs for Emil H. Knickman, 79, of Council Bluffs. He died last Monday at an Omaha hospital.
Knickman was born in Keg Creek Township on Oct. 23, 1904. He and his wife, Ethel, celebrated 57 years of marriage on March 6. He was a farmer in the Silver City area, and a member of the Silver City United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel; a son, Conrad of Dunlap; a daughter, Helen Herren, of Cedar Rapids; two brothers. Marvin and Earl, both of Council Bluffs; a sister, Elsie Frohardt of Council Bluffs; and one grandson, Jason Knickman of Dunlap.
Services were at McCurdy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene
Crossett officiating. Interment was at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council
Bluffs. Memorials may be sent to the Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association.
