Frank Miller from Germany

I have found my grandfather, Frank Miller, in the 1920 Federal Census of Des Moines, Iowa. This is the first real information I have found about him. My grandmothers name was Olga Irene White, and she died young, leaving my mother, Ione, and my two uncles Raymond and Richard. In the census he states that his mother and father were born in Germany. That is where I need some help. He may have relatives still living around Runnells, where my Ridgeway family lived.
I would appreciate any information.
