Pauline C. Catron, 82, of Fountain Valley, Calif., died of a heart ailment there Thursday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Merle Hay Funeral Home in Des Moines, with entombment in Merle Hay Mausoleum.
Mrs. Catron, a homemaker, was born in Cedar Rapids and lived in Des Moines before moving to California 14 years ago.
She is survived by her husband, John; a son, LemMon of Des Moines; two step-sons, John Catron of Marshalltown and Michael Catron of Washington state; a step-daughter, Patty Jo Catron of Marshalltown; a brother, Raymond Brown of DeWitt; a grandchild; and four step-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m.
