Barbara “Kathy” Dorf, age 75, passed away on August 1, 2022. She was born in Des Moines on July 8, 1947, to Claland and Ethel Brown.

Kathy worked as a library clerk for many years. She enjoyed time with her grandsons and great-granddaughter. Working on genealogy of both families.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Joe; son, Bill (Jen); grandsons, Adam, Christopher, and Micheal, and great-granddaughter, Rosemarie; daughter, Kristyn (John) McCarthy; sisters, Charlotte Brown of Seattle, Louise Brown of Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held at the church Thursday, August 18 from 5-7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Ss. John and Paul Catholic Church, 1401 1st Avenue S. in Altoona, with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
