Ralph Renteria Sr., 91, of West Des Moines died on April 27, 2022. Ralph was born January 18, 1931 in Blue Earth, Minnesota.

Mr. Renteria was lifelong resident of Valley Junction. He retired from the Rock Island Railroad and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Surviving are his daughters Erlinda Renteria and Cynthia Carreras and son Ralph Renteria Jr; siblings Robert, John, and Rosie; grandchildren Mario Jr., Micaela, Ashley, and Katie; great-grandchildren Tristian, Alecia, and Marelie. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Frances and son Ricky.

Private funeral services will be held and burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ralph's memory may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1627 Grand Avenue, West Des Moines, Iowa 50265.
