Capt. C. L. Watrous, a pioneer resident of Des Moines, is dead.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Jan. 13, 1837; however, it shows he died in May, 1916 which doesn’t agree with the above. He is buried in the Woodland Cemetery.
