Lew Sallinger, a prominent business man of Creston, connected with the firm of Sallinger & Goldstein, died suddenly from Bright's disease. He was buried in Des Moines.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows his name spelled Salinger and that he was born March 7, 1865 and died July 1, 1913. He is buried in Jewish Glendale Cemetery.
