Sudden Death
Mrs. Mary Chalmers received the sad news of the sudden death of her daughter, Mrs. Lester Rands, Fruitland, Idaho.
Mrs. Chalmers had just received a long letter from her on Saturday evening and her daughter died Sunday morning. Her husband is bringing her back to Des Moines, where she has so many loving friends.
She leaves to mourn her loss, a kind and loving husband and a beautiful daughter of five years; two brothers, J. T. Chalmers of Oskaloosa, A. M. Chalmers, Alberta, Canada; three sisters, Alice Revel of Mapleton, Iowa, Rose Hohf of Yankton, S.D., Linda Bobo of this city, and her mother, Mrs. Mary Chalmers.
This is a bitter affliction for Mrs. Chalmers. Carrie was her youngest daughter and had everything to make life pleasant.
