Friends and old acquaintances were shocked and saddened Thursday by the news of the death of Leslie Blue at the home of his mother near Peoria. He had undergone an operation for acute appendicitis a few days before. His funeral was held from the home of his mother on Friday afternoon, interment at the Dunkard cemetery south of Maxwell. Mr. and Mrs. Blue and family lived near here several years ago when Leslie was a small boy.
