BETTY WEBB DOWNARD

Betty Webb Downard, 89, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Betty was born August 19, 1919, in Des Moines to Betsy and John Daniels.

She was a homemaker. Betty enjoyed being with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Betty is survived by her husband, Charles Downard; her children, Lenny (Ellie) Webb, Lois (Jerry) Graeve, Carol (Marc) VanderLinden, Dale (Linda) Webb; 15 grandchildrenl 17 great- grandchildren; eight great- great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Raymond Webb; her son, Ray Webb; and eleven brothers and sisters.
