Elizabeth ("Betty") Anne Hoffman TePoorten, 87, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away peacefully in hospice on December 22, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Betty was born January 21, 1921 in New York City and grew up in Asbury Park, NJ.

She is survived by two sons, James Roberts Klock (Linda) of Pearce, AZ and G. Bradley Klock, D.O. (Carol) of West Des Moines, IA; a stepdaughter, Leslie TePoorten Rutkowski (Mark) and thee grandchildren, Anna, Lauren and Frankie of Greendale, WI; a stepson, Michael Perior of Venice, FL.

She is predeceased by her husband, Bernard A. TePoorten, D. O. and former husbands James. G.
Klock and ILT Joseph Fiander. Betty will be remembered for her sense of decorum, love of animals and magnificent, cursive script.

No services are scheduled. Betty wanted her ashes to be scattered in he Santa Catalina Mts. of Tucson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local humane society animal shelters. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register Sat 27 Dec 2008.
