Des MoinesJudy died at Mercy West Lakes Hospital September 13.
She lived at ManorCare the last few years of her life where she went from barely aware of her surroundings to a mentally and emotionally alive person capable of enjoying life to the limits of her frail body. Judy was born June 18, 1940 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. She lived in Des Moines all her life except for a few years when her father was in the service in World War II.
She is survived by her brother Rickey.
Services will be Saturday, September 29, at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Methodist Church 2900 - 49th in Des Moines. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register Tues 25 Sept 2012.
