Douglas Linder, 67, passed away October 24, 2010 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Douglas was born December 2, 1942 in Chicago, IL. Douglas was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, following the Iowa Hawkeyes and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Dolores; sons, Bradley (Laura) Linder and Stephen (Melissa) Linder; grandchildren, Samuel, William and Sarah; and his brothers, Robert Linder and Carl Linder. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and caregivers for the wonderful care Douglas received.
