Mrs. Elphie Belle Ridgeway, age 101, passed away early Tuesday, May 12,, 2015 at Parkridge Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill. She was a long time Runnells, then Prairie City Resident; spending the last four years at the care center. Funeral Services for Elphie will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Runnells Christian Church, officiated by Rev. Brad Thornton. Burial in Lowman Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to Services at the church on Monday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard in 1999; Son, Gene in 2004; granddaughter, Robbin Ridgeway; Great Great granddaughter, Aleena Coe and five brothers and sisters. Surviving is her son, Norman Ridgeway of Runnells; eight- grandchildren and numerous great and great- great- grandchildren.
