Page 16, Column 5Charles D. Sorenson, age 95, died peacefully at home on Thursday, July 1, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Lois Sorenson. He is survived by children, Charles Sorenson II (Diane) of Vienna, VA, Randy Sorenson (Coral) of Elkhart, Sherri Sorenson of Cave Creek, AZ, and Cindy Kirschbaum (Ray) of Elkhart; grandchildren, Tony Thompson, Renee Lamfers (Ron), Cole Thompson, Mark Sorenson, Paul Sorenson, Brent Sorenson (Amanda), and Jerry Sorenson; and one great-grandson, Ty Lamfers.
To celebrate his life, the family will host a wiener roast at the Sorenson farm on Monday, July 5, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m., rain or shine. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
